Merveille Bope fired home an eye catching free-kick with 15 minutes left on the clock in Tout Puissant (T.P) Mazembe's 1-0 victory over Yanga Sports Club during a CAF Champions’ league group A match played at the Dar es salaam national stadium on Tuesday.

Playing before a fully packed stadium, the two sides created several goal scoring opportunities but in vain.

Togolese defender Vincent Bossou, Donald Ngoma, Michael Kamusako and Rwanda midfield gem, Harunah Niyonzima came close for the home home.

Thomas Ulimwengu, captain Jean Kasusula, Issama Mpeko and Roger Assale tested the Yanga goalkeeper Dio Munish on different occasions.

Following a goal-less first half, the visitors intensified efforts for an impressive and precious away victory
