WHO IS HEROIC LIKE ERNESTO “CHE” GUEVERA?

Ernesto "Che" Guevara (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈtʃe ɣeˈβaɾa];
June 14, 1928 – October 9, 1967), commonly known as El Che or simply Che, was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, guerrilla leader, diplomat, and military theorist. A major figure of the Cuban Revolution, his stylized visage has become a ubiquitous countercultural symbol of rebellion and global insignia in popular culture.
As a young medical student, Guevara traveled throughout South America and was radicalized by the poverty, hunger, and disease he witnessed.
His burgeoning desire to help overturn what he saw as the capitalist exploitation of Latin America by the United States prompted his involvement in Guatemala's social reforms under President Jacobo Árbenz, whose eventual CIA-assisted overthrow at the behest of the United Fruit Company solidified Guevara's political ideology.
Later, in Mexico City, he met Raúl andFidel Castro, joined their 26th of July Movement, and sailed to Cuba aboard the yacht Granma, with the intention of overthrowing U.S.-backed Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista.
Guevara soon rose to prominence among the insurgents, was promoted to second-in-command, and played a pivotal role in the victorious two-year guerrilla campaign that deposed the Batista regime.
Following the Cuban Revolution, Guevara performed a number of key roles in the new government. These included reviewing the appeals and firing squads for those convicted as war criminals during the revolutionary tribunals.
instituting agrarian land reform as minister of industries, helping spearhead a successful nationwide literacy campaign, serving as both national bank president and instructional director for Cuba's armed forces, and traversing the globe as a diplomat on behalf of Cuban socialism. Such positions also allowed him to play a central role in training the militia forces who repelled the Bay of Pigs Invasion and bringing the Soviet nuclear ballistic missiles to Cuba which precipitated the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.
Additionally, he was a prolific writer and diarist, composing a seminal manual on guerrilla warfare, along with a best-selling memoir about his youthful continental motorcycle journey. His experiences and studying of Marxism–Leninism led him to posit that the Third World's underdevelopment and dependence was an intrinsic result of imperialism, neocolonialism, and monopoly capitalism, with the only remedy being proletarian internationalism and world revolution.
Guevara left Cuba in 1965 to foment revolution abroad, first unsuccessfully in Congo-Kinshasa and later in Bolivia, where he was captured by CIA-assisted Bolivian forces and summarily executed.[14]
Guevara remains both a revered and reviled historical figure, polarized in the collective imagination in a multitude of biographies, memoirs, essays, documentaries, songs, and films. As a result of his perceived martyrdom, poetic invocations for class struggle, and desire to create the consciousness of a "new man" driven by moral rather than material incentives, he has evolved into a quintessential icon of various leftist-inspired movements. Time magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century,[15] while an Alberto Korda photograph of him, titled Guerrillero Heroico (shown), was cited by the Maryland Institute College of Art as "the most famous photograph in the world."

Tanzanian government is expecting to broadcast live coverage of parliamentary discussions on radio stations with in the country.

Various elites within the government and journalists were able to go for a meeting in Dodoma where the parliament is based in order to get that permission.

Minister of information, tradition, arts and sports Mr. Nape Nnauye told journalists yesterday on the opening ceremony of Community radio media network of Tanzania studios in Dar es Salaam Open University.

“This will help even to reduce on the costs that were incurred by radio stations previously that they had to go with their machines to Dodoma for alive coverage which was not easy especially to community radios” Nape said willingly.

Nape promised the congregation and talked about peoples’ right to have information which is relevant to our community as Tanzanians.

He even said that the government will have to sit in a parliamentary discussion and issue such plan for the best of the nation at large.

But the minister also pleaded for journalists to beware of sedition which can hinder the lives and peace prevailing in Tanzania.

The minister continued to say about the relevance of this community radio studio on how it’s beneficial in boosting democracy plus even training students who are studying mass communication.

The representative of United Nations educational, scientific and cultural organization (UNESCO) Zulmira Rodriguez who attended the event said that this organization is happy on how community radios are progressing.

Zulmira Rodriguez thanked the government on how they have inspired such radio stations and this was seen during the past election.

“We would like also the government to give a hand to such radio stations as we (UNESCO) are providing much help to them” Zulmira Rodriguez added.

Recently the government scrapped off live coverage of parliamentary discussions on the National television station saying that it incurs a lot of unnecessary costs, this was followed by closing up of some media houses that were accused of sedition.

                   LIONEL MISSES AGAIN AND FAINTS

With Gerald Lumanyika

We don’t blame our tools when we finish using them, however we count luck in all what is done. I once told some companion of mine that being lucky is part of life.

Yesterday luck wasn’t on the 29 year old boss of international football, Messi, the Ballon d’Or five times winner and just nothing to show on the national team except the Olympic Gold medal he won in 2008.

Views around the world are going on but in a different dimension about this lad, yes indeed it has to be, but let us not forget that luck comes even to the weak just as it comes to the strong.

“It’s been four finals I tried” Messi said sadly, the latter has retired from international football paving way for other geniuses to play their part.

Losing in 2007 against Brazil Copa America, 2014 world cup with Germany, Lionel had hope in the two previous Cup finals on the international level but all has been in a failure way.
According to Sergio Romero the Argentine and Manchester united goal keeper, he said that Messi retired because of the frustration that happened after the match.

In other words, Messi never expected to lose again in what was called a great chance for revenge by most Argentines.

If one is to look at the way things have gone, no one knows what happens tomorrow, may be if the Argentine thinks again to not retire, he can grab a trophy by chance the way the Greeks did in Euro 2006 when no hope was given to them.

Christians say that when someone faints in the times of adversity, their strength is small. What an encouraging statement it is for Lionel Messi if he takes it in account.

Metlife stadium, New Jersey sounds so horrific for the team that lost 4-2 on penalties after the nil to nil draw against the roaring lions of chile in celebration.

If you feel sorry for the Lion that has fainted after missing a penalty, then just feel sorry for the lioness who have even never won a medal in their way through the competitions
.
Gerardo Martino the Argentine manager encouraged other players who are willing to continue that there is a future for them and that is the world cup final despite hearing the statement of retirement from this magnificent forward together with the rumors that came from the dressing room about the likes of zabaleta and Higuain to retire.

Lionel misses the trophy but he is still all-time Argentine Goal scorer 55 out of 113 games ahead of Gabriel Batistuta with 54 goals out of 78, Messi has also won the most Ballon d’Ors than any other footballer in the world hence making him one of the greatest footballers under the sun.
